What a long strange trip it's been...

The Fan Expo has come and gone again for another year. I could go on and on about the plethora of problems that we ran into this year but I'd rather remember the good times. There were a lot of great people that I got to meet and reconnect with at this colossal event. Jim Zubkavich caught me by surprise when he popped up at the Durham Comics Guild table. His upcoming book, Skullkickers, looks like it's going to melt some faces when it's released next month. Lamin Martin, who I met last year briefly and didn't find again until the very end of the con, was kind enough to trade some convention tips with this green horn. Check out his gallery at here. His line work is amazing and you won't be able to look away from his fantasy portraits. Adam and Thea, the organizers of the Toronto Zombie Walk, dropped by bringing the gift of new screen printing ink. Thanks again guys. I can't wait to try it out. Erica Steenburg, one of my buds from the Eastdale days, and her boys from the 501st. In her special brand of criticism, that only she can dish out, let me know that I've got to stop making female genitalia look like office supplies. A new face this year was Kassandra Santos. Wow. Do yourself a favor and check her out. Your eyes will thank you for it. Thanks for all the kind words Kassandra. To everyone that purchased books, commissions and or prints from the Guild table this year; my thanks goes out to all of you. But enough of this dancing around the keyboard, here's a couple of sketches I did over the weekend whist in the middle of the hullabaloo. Enjoy...
