Spent last night conversing with infernal forces and realised something. Demons are to shirts as Elves are to shoes. Onesies I say! ONESIES!!!

So we dipped our feet into infant fashion today. Did a couple Student Association onesies and they turned out pretty durned alright! Had a helping hand in the lab from my weekend assistant Cheyenne. Note the lips match the ink!(coincidence)

Raised a bunch o cash at the art auction. Busy from the moment I walked in and stayed late to make sure everyone got their caricatures

Will be at Brother Andre elementary in Ajax tonight, 6:30-8:30 for an art auction. Fundraiser to build a school in Sire Leone. Caricatures!

Here's the brainstorm that's been brewing for the next DRRD game.

Crazy times

Well I haven't posted in a while but thought maybe I should sum up some events as of late. First off the Durham Region Roller Derby has had their season opener match which was over 3 hours of roller derby mayhem. Rogue Dog Design was there moving some shirts, along with the comics of the Durham Comics Guild. Also had some extra time to do some people watchin' sketches of the attendees. Free Comic Book Day last week you say? Well Rouge Dog was out at the always friendly World's Collide to do personalized sketches for anyone who was lookin'. Met a lot of great people and as always had a lot fun. You can't have that much memorabilia and books under one roof and not have an awesome time. I'd like to be able to post up some of the caricature work from that day but, sadly, I forgot my phone at home that day :( Lastly, and on a sadder note, the Rogue Dog mascot, Paige is not doing so well. The hip displasia is becoming very pronounced and she is requiring a regiment of painkillers and anti inflamatories to help keep her mobile. We are currently looking into getting a consultation with a surgeon to see what can be done for her and what kind of quality of life she can expect. She's only 7, so I am expecting a positive prognosis. I'll keep everyone posted on this touchy situation. Thanks for reading.

Travellin' man

Spent the last week on the road! Well not the whole week but went to the very informative open house seminar put on by Lancer last Thursday. Got a lot of great tips and some pretty cool swag. Then hit Toronto on Saturday for the Imprint Canada show. Got to meet with the manufacturers and some distributors. Also slipped in some time to drool over the equipment and options that are available this year. With all these great tools at my disposal; it is gonna be a great year to get yer shirts done by the Dog!

Happy 2012

Happy New Year to one and all. 2011 was a great year for Rogue Dog, had a increase in sales, got to meet some great clients and upgraded the equipment in the lab. Here's to 2012 may it be nothing short of awesome.

I also got a chance to put this little number together for a local band Devoked. Was going to be a shirt design at first but it ended up being a pretty cool poster. May still put this one on the screen and see what kind of crazy magic happens.
